The Lazarus Project: Since 1998, The Lazarus Project has been the only non-profit organization to provide low or no cost housing for homeless men and women in our community. For those men and women in our community who have little to no income and are on the verge of becoming homeless, The Lazarus Project has become their last hope for housing before being sent to a shelter or to live on the streets. For those men and women in our community who have little to no income and are homeless, The Lazarus Project has become their only and best hope for returning to a life fulfilled as a contributing member of our community. Within our homes our staff creates an environment of success where program participants can attain economic and social well-being by overcoming the issues that contributed to their situation. In short...we provide a hand up - not a hand out.
